Kashmir's summer valleys remain one of India's most photographed landscapes, and this 6 days 5 nights trip from Srinagar covers the region's classic circuit — a Dal Lake houseboat stay, Asia's highest cable car in Gulmarg, and the meadow valleys around Pahalgam — in a well-paced itinerary for NCR travellers.
The trip opens with a houseboat check-in on Dal Lake and an afternoon through the Mughal-era gardens of Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, closing with a Shikara ride across the lake as the Pir Panjal range comes into view. Day 2 heads to Gulmarg for one of Asia's highest cable cars, with time to explore on foot or by pony to Khilanmarg. The route to Pahalgam includes a stop at the Avantipur temple ruins, followed by a full valley day covering Aru Valley's meadows, the film-famous Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari — the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. The final excursion reaches Sonmarg along the Sindh River, with an optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier for a closer look at the snowfields.
The package includes private vehicle transfers throughout, 5 nights of accommodation split between a Dal Lake houseboat and hotels, 9 meals across the trip, a Dal Lake Shikara ride, Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1 tickets, entry tickets to the Mughal Gardens and valley stops, a dedicated trip captain, and airport pickup at Srinagar.
Pack & Go is a Gurugram-based travel agency specialising in planned seasonal trips for NCR travellers. Our team manages permits, daily coordination, and on-ground logistics, so the trip stays focused on the valleys and gardens rather than the planning behind it.

The houseboat stay on Dal Lake was the highlight for us. Shikara ride at sunset was so peaceful, kids loved it too. Driver was punctual every single day.
Gulmarg gondola views were unreal, totally worth it. Only thing — Pahalgam day felt a bit rushed with so many valleys covered together.
Went with my wife for our anniversary, trip captain managed everything smoothly. Hotels were clean and food was good throughout. Will book again with Pack & Go.
