Land at Cochin Airport and meet your driver representative at the exit. The journey to Munnar takes you through Kerala's green interior — rubber and banana plantations give way to steeper hills as you gain altitude. En route, pull over at Cheeyappara Waterfall, a seven-tiered cascade that drops dramatically along the side of the national highway — a good first look at what Kerala's landscape is about. Reach Munnar, check in to your hotel, and settle in for the night.

Breakfast at the hotel, then a full day of sightseeing across Munnar's most-visited spots. Eravikulam National Park is first — home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, the park sits at high elevation with unobstructed views across rolling tea-covered slopes. The Tata Tea Museum next door traces the entire journey from leaf to cup and is more interesting than it sounds — especially if you take the plantation walk. After lunch (on your own), visit Blossom Park, a well-maintained floral garden ideal for a stroll, followed by Mattupetty Dam where optional boating is available. Echo Point, a short drive away, lets you hear your voice bounce off the surrounding hills. Return to the hotel before dark and rest up.

After breakfast and hotel checkout, the drive from the hills to the coast is a pleasant three-and-a-half hours through coconut groves, paddy fields, and small Kerala towns. Alleppey — referred to as the Venice of the East — is built on a network of canals and lagoons fed by the Arabian Sea. Check into your hotel, then head out for a houseboat cruise (arranged independently at local rates, typically INR 3,000–8,000 depending on duration). Float past village life, palm-lined canals, and paddy-field banks as the sun drops. Overnight at the Alleppey hotel.

A relaxed final breakfast, then check out and board your transfer back to Kochi. The drive takes roughly one and a half hours and gets you to Cochin Airport comfortably ahead of most afternoon flights. Kerala has a way of feeling both slow and full at the same time — and four days here tend to leave people already planning their return.

Took this trip with my husband as a quick post-wedding break and it was exactly what we needed. Munnar in the morning, with fog everywhere and no one around — that alone was worth it. The hotel sorted breakfast and our driver was punctual throughout. Alleppey on Day 3 was completely different and equally good.
Solid package for the price. Four days felt short but the itinerary is honestly well sequenced — hills first, backwaters later works better than doing it the other way. Eravikulam was the highlight for me. The houseboat is on your own which I would have liked to know beforehand, but otherwise no complaints.
Booked this for a family trip of six and everything was smooth from Kochi pickup to the final drop. Munnar was greener than I expected even in November. The tea museum was genuinely interesting and the kids loved Mattupetty Dam. Would book through Pack and Go again without a second thought.
