This 9 days 8 nights circuit covers four of Rajasthan's most iconic cities — Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer — bringing together pink-city palaces, a lake city, a blue old town, and golden desert dunes in one extended trip from Delhi NCR. It's built for travellers who want the fuller Rajasthan experience rather than a 2-3 city introduction, with enough time in each destination to explore beyond the headline monuments.
The circuit opens in Jaipur with Amber Fort's hilltop ramparts, the City Palace, and Jantar Mantar's 18th-century astronomical instruments. From there it moves to Udaipur, where the City Palace complex — built over 400 years by successive Mewar rulers — sits beside Lake Pichola, with a boat ride offering views of the Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir palaces. Jodhpur follows with Mehrangarh Fort rising 120 metres above the blue-painted old city, one of India's best fort museums housing royal palanquins and miniature paintings, alongside the serene Jaswant Thada memorial. The trip closes in Jaisalmer, covering Sonar Qilla — the living fort still home to a resident community — the carved sandstone facades of Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and a Sam Sand Dunes camel safari with sunset views and a folk music evening under the open desert sky.
The package includes 8 nights of twin-sharing accommodation across all four cities, daily breakfast, AC cab transfers for the full inter-city circuit and all local sightseeing, monument entry fees as per the itinerary, the Lake Pichola boat ride, and the Sam Sand Dunes camel safari with cultural evening.
Pack & Go is a Gurugram-based travel agency specialising in planned, multi-city trips for NCR travellers. Our team coordinates vehicle logistics, hotel bookings, and daily scheduling across all four cities, so the extended circuit stays smooth rather than logistically demanding.
This Rajasthan circuit suits travellers who prefer one comprehensive trip over multiple shorter visits — families, groups, and first-time Rajasthan visitors wanting real depth in each city. The package is not valid during Diwali, Dussehra, Christmas, and New Year peak dates. Reach out to our team to check current departure dates and availability.
Arrive in Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Spend the late afternoon strolling through the colourful streets around Johari Bazaar. Your Pack & Go coordinator meets the group in the evening for a tour briefing over chai.
Meals: None
A full day covering Jaipur's iconic landmarks. Start at Amber Fort — arrive early for cooler temperatures and shorter queues, with a jeep ride up to the main gate. Move on to the City Palace and its remarkable textile and arms museum, then take a quick stop at the photogenic Hawa Mahal facade. End the day exploring Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century astronomical observatory that still works.
Meals: Breakfast
Morning drive to Udaipur (approx. 6–7 hours). The landscape shifts from dusty plains to the gentle Aravalli hills as you approach the lake city. Check in and take a relaxed evening walk along the Pichola Lake promenade — the view of Lake Palace floating on water at sunset is something to savour slowly.
Meals: Breakfast
Visit the grand City Palace of Udaipur — a layered complex built over 400 years by successive Mewar rulers. Take a short boat ride on Lake Pichola with views of Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir palaces. Wander through the narrow lanes of the old city in the afternoon, browsing miniature painting shops and rooftop cafes overlooking the ghats.
Meals: Breakfast
Drive to Jodhpur (approx. 5 hours), passing through small Rajasthani towns. Arrive by afternoon and check in. Head out in the evening to the old clock tower market area — Sardar Market — where the smell of spices fills the air and the blue-painted houses of the old city rise behind the stalls.
Meals: Breakfast
Mehrangarh Fort is the centrepiece of today — perched 120 metres above the city, it offers commanding views of the sea of blue houses below. The fort museum inside is one of the best in Rajasthan, housing royal palanquins, armour, and miniature paintings. After lunch, visit the serene Jaswant Thada memorial nearby, then explore the winding lanes of the old city on foot.
Meals: Breakfast
Drive through the Thar Desert towards Jaisalmer (approx. 5–6 hours). The landscape gradually turns golden as scrub gives way to sand. Arrive and check in to your desert camp or heritage hotel. The late afternoon is perfect for walking up to Jaisalmer Fort — one of the few forts in the world still inhabited by a living community.
Meals: Breakfast
Explore Jaisalmer Fort in the morning, visiting the Jain temples inside the fort complex and the old merchant havelis — Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli — with their intricately carved sandstone facades. In the late afternoon, head to Sam Sand Dunes for a camel ride and a vivid Thar sunset. Enjoy a cultural folk music and dance performance at the dunes in the evening.
Meals: Breakfast
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and head to Jaisalmer Railway Station or Airport. If time permits, pick up some authentic Rajasthani handicrafts — leather goods, mojari shoes, and mirror-work textiles — from the local market before you leave.

Did this trip with a group of six colleagues and it was genuinely one of the best trips I've taken in India. Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur left everyone speechless — we spent almost three hours there. The Sam Dunes evening was electric, and the folk dancers were fantastic. Pack & Go handled everything smoothly.
Udaipur was my favourite part of the trip — the City Palace and the lake together are just stunning. My only suggestion would be to give a little more time in Udaipur and a little less on the Jodhpur to Jaisalmer drive day. But the driver was lovely and very reliable throughout. Would recommend for a first-time Rajasthan trip.
Booked this for me and my wife for our anniversary. The desert camp in Jaisalmer was a highlight we didn't expect — sleeping under the stars in the Thar is a completely different experience. Pack & Go was responsive on WhatsApp throughout the trip whenever we had questions. Very well organised.
